Staff gave me a warm welcome straight away, which was lovely. They explained the use of the restaurant, bar, etc, and were quick to let me know the area could get busy as more people arrived because they had a full house. This was useful for somebody travelling solo who wanted a quiet meal, so I quickly got ready for my meal, which was delicious, quickly served, and my pint was brought over from the bar very efficiently. The room was cosy but well equipped. Everything was very clean and tidy. I had a 'quiet' room, and it was just that, which was ideal. I have stayed in far more expensive hotels and not had such service.

Check in was very easy. The car park was right next to the hotel. The room was clean and had an ironing board and iron in the room. There was tea and coffee making facilities. There was plenty of choice at breakfast and proper toasters to use. The breakfast room was a good size and looked out at nice green area. All the staff we met were helpful and friendly. The hotel is only 3 miles from the village our relatives live in so is ideal when we visit.

Everything was really good however, I stay regularly and over the past couple of weeks the cost of staying at Holiday Inn Express has increased significantly so I do not think it can be described as a budget hotel. Also I have experienced a leaking toilet in two different holiday Inn Expresses, and needed to change rooms so this was inconvenient. In addition, in one room I stayed in a couple of times the view out right outside of the room's window was one of the hotel's dirty laundry waiting to be collected.

We love this hotel. It's always convenient for a stopover on the way to Luton Airport. The rooms are quiet, especially on a Sunday night and the fact you can get breakfast included in the price is a no brainer. On this occasion our flight was early so we couldn't take advantage of the Breakfast so got some sandwiches from the garage just over the Car Park, which is also included in the price. En suite shower facilities, it's a bargain compared to other establishments.

Very cost friendly stay and serves as a super budget base for a weekend away. Staff were friendly and helpful from arrival to check out. Food in restaurant was really nice and reasonably priced. Breakfast was good too, but was very busy. Location is great if you're wanting somewhere close to a main road with lots of fun stuff to do close by.

Staff were excellent throughout our stay. Nothing was a problem and always willing to help. Not a big hotel but everything is required is onsite. Local petrol station with M&S if you need food, etc and a microwave in the hotel reception to warm up your ready-meals!

Staff were very welcoming and helpful. The room was very cold and when I asked for an extra blanket at night reception, the staff member not only bought a duvet but also a heater and sorted the TV when it went off. Very happy with help. We missed breakfast (our fault entirely, slept thru alarm). Staff helped us get a coffee and fruit, thankfully. Great staff all round.

The room is basic but clean, standard TV channels so bring a fire stick. Bathroom was clean and the breakfast is really good and the aircon is a nice touch as well
